บทเรียนนรกว่าด้วยการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับระบบการจัดการ "ย่อหน้า" ยังคงดำเนินต่อไป... 
สัปดาห์นี้ถือว่าใกล้จบการเรียนเกี่ยวกับวิธีการเขียน "ย่อหน้า" ที่ดีแล้วล่ะค่ะ เพราะได้มาถึงเรื่องการจัดเรียงประโยคต่างๆ ในย่อหน้าหนึ่งๆ ให้เป็นไปอย่างมีระบบระเบียบ รวมถึงการแทรกคำหรือถ้อยคำต่างๆ มาเพื่อเชื่อมต่อประโยคต่างๆ ในย่อหน้าและทำให้คนอ่านเข้าใจสิ่งที่เราเขียนได้ดีมากขึ้น
วิธีการจัดเรียงย่อหน้าและคำเชื่อมประเภทต่างๆ

Time Order
เป็นการจัดเรียงย่อหน้าตามลำดับเวลาที่เกิดเหตุการณ์ขึ้น (จากอดีตถึงปัจจุบัน) หรืออธิบายขั้นตอน/กระบวนการต่างๆ ตัวอย่างการจัดเรียงย่อหน้าประเภทนี้ คือ Curriculum Vitae การเขียนเชิงพรรณา ข้อเขียนเกี่ยวกับประวัติศาสตร์ การเขียนบรรยายวิธีการทดลอง
คำเชื่อมที่มักใช้กับย่อหน้าประเภท Time Order >> after, as soon as, during, eventually, first, since, then, while, recently, at this point, by the time, etc.

Spatial Order
หากต้องการเขียนบรรยายลักษณะของอะไรบางอย่างหรือเกี่ยวกับสถานที่บางแห่ง ก็ต้องใช้วิธีการเขียนที่เรียกกันว่า Spatial Order ค่ะ (Spatial - adj. = concerning a space) เช่น การเขียนเกี่ยวกับสภาพห้องหรือสถานที่
คำเชื่อมที่มักใช้กับย่อหน้าประเภท Spatial Order >> above, across, behind, below, beside, near, to the right/left, between, at the centre, etc.

Order of Importance
เป็นวิธีการจัดเรียงความคิด ตัวอย่าง หรือเหตุผลต่างๆ ที่เราเขียนไว้ในย่อหน้านั้นตามลำดับความสำคัญ จะจากหน้าไปหลังหรือหลังไปหน้าก็ตามแต่จะชอบ เช่น อธิบายวิธีการย้ายถิ่นฐานของสัตว์ เหตุผลที่ชื่นชอบอะไรสักอย่างเป็นพิเศษ
จะเห็นได้ว่าวิธีเขียนแบบ Order of Importance กับ Time Order ค่อนข้างคล้ายคลึงกัน แต่ Order of Importance จะเป็นการเรียงลำดับแบบไม่มีเรื่องของ "เวลา" มาเกี่ยวข้องค่ะ

And the hellish lessons of paragraph writing continue...
I humbly presumed that the class must've reached the final part of "How to write a good paragraph" becasue we were learning how to arrange the sentences in certain order(s) and connect those sentences with words or expressions (also known as "Transitions") to make a paragraph easy to understand.
Organisations and Transitions

Time Order
This is how a paragraph is arranged in chronological order (past to present/future). It could be a description of a certain event, an instruction, a process of something, Curriculum Vitae, a narration on history or a report of an experiment.
Transitions indicating Time Relationships >> after, as soon as, during, eventually, first, since, then, while, recently, at this point, by the time, etc.

Spatial Order
Since Spatial - adj. = concerning a space, so if you're going to describe what something looks like (e.g. a room, a certain place), it's best to write in Spatial Order.
Transitions indicating Spatial Relationships >> above, across, behind, below, beside, near, to the right/left, between, at the centre, etc.

Order of Importance
This is a method of organising ideas, examples or reasons for emphasis - from least to most importance or vice versa. For example, you may explain about the migration of certain animals or reasons why you like something very much with this pattern of writing.
Some of you might've noticed that Order of Importance and Time Order patterns are quite similar. Very well, let's say that the Order of Importance has no "time" indication or relationship, okay?
